Join Graham Zimmerman and Chris Wright for a presentation followed by Q&A on their first ascent of Link Sar, a climb that earned them the 2020 Piolets d'Or award for their incredible mountaineering achievement.
Mulch Madness season is here! On Sunday March 21st, a small group of 10 volunteers from the Lady Crush Crew and the BACC met up at Indian Rock Park for our second Adopt-a-Crag of 2021! The day started with introductions and acknowledgment of Indian Rock Park being on the traditional territory of the Chochenyo Ohlone people. They then worked on spreading out fresh mulch and picking up trash from the park. Some Indian Rock Park neighbors even stopped by to say hello and thank us for our efforts! Huge thanks to Lady Crush Crew for attending, and to Rebecca Taggert for helping to organize the event! Photos by Charles Futoran and Allan Alvarez

For those that are wondering how you can help, here is a list of resources to help you get started.
On February 21st, a small group of masked and socially distanced BACC board members were thrilled to work with staff from Marin County Parks to remove invasive species and remove trash from the Ring Mountain Preserve. Ring Mountain is a windswept ridge on the Tiburon Peninsula, known in the climbing community for its Split Rock and Turtle Rock formations.
The BACC is asking for your help in preserving access to the Hillcrest Boulders by honoring residents’ request that all traffic be diverted to alternative parking areas and by reducing the impact caused by a recent increase in activity in the area.
