Help Mount Diablo State Park celebrate its 100 year anniversary by removing graffiti and litter from the Castle Rocks!

Come join the 3rd annual Pine Canyon Clean Up Day at Mount Diablo State Park! This event is in partnership with the Bay Area Climbers Coalition, Mount Diablo State Park, and East Bay Regional Park District.
Date and time: Fri, November 18, 2022, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM PST
FRIDAY project: Remove litter and graffiti from Pine Canyon.

Location: Little Pine Creek Trail Head on Northgate Rd within Mount Diablo State Park, Walnut Creek, CA 94565
Parking Directions: There are multiple areas where volunteers can park and walk to the meeting point:
- Option a) Drive 1.5 miles from the Northgate entrance of MDSP to a parking pull out to the right of the road, where the Little Pine Canyon Trail Head is located. Parking is limited.
- Option b) A second parking pull out is located farther up Northgate Rd where it intersects with Burma Rd trail. Parking is limited.
- Option c) Park at the large lot at the entrance of Diablo Foothills Regional Park off Castle Rock Rd and hike up to the meeting point at Little Pine Creek Trail Head.
**Tell the entry kiosk attendant that you are volunteering for our event to waive the $10 state park entrance fee.**
Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Contact Haley at hsutton@savemountdiablo.org for minor waivers.
What to Bring: Water bottle and snacks, sturdy shoes, eye protection (sunglasses or work glasses), layers and sun protection, face covering, and work gloves if you have them.
