Help Mount Diablo State Park celebrate its 100 year anniversary by removing graffiti and litter from the Castle Rocks!

Come join the 3rd annual Pine Canyon Clean Up Day at Mount Diablo State Park! This event is in partnership with the Bay Area Climbers Coalition, Mount Diablo State Park, and East Bay Regional Park District.
Date and time: Fri, November 18, 2022, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM PST
FRIDAY project: Reduce fire danger in the Knobcone Point area by cleaning up and chipping branches along the trail.

Location: Curry Point Staging Area Off South Gate Rd, Mount Diablo State Park Walnut Creek, CA 94565
Parking Directions: Enter the State Park via the South or North Gate entrances. Drive to the Curry Point Staging area (near the Rock City area of the park). Volunteers will be guided from the parking area to the project site is along Knobcone Pt Rd.
**Tell the entry kiosk attendant that you are volunteering for our event to waive the $10 state park entrance fee.**
Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Contact Haley at hsutton@savemountdiablo.org for minor waivers.
What to Bring: Water bottle and snacks, sturdy shoes, eye protection (sunglasses or work glasses), layers and sun protection, face covering, and work gloves if you have them.
