Bay Area Climbers Coalition kicked off the fall season with our East Bay Adopt-A-Crag on
on Saturday, September 16! Fifty-one volunteers joined us to tackle stewardship projects at Indian and Mortar Rocks in the Berkeley Hills. Throughout the morning, volunteers accomplished the following:
– Removed 3 large patches of graffiti
– Distributed 40 cubic yards of mulch
– Collected 2 yards of weeds, shrubbery, and organic matter
– Picked up 100 gallons of trash
– Enjoyed 14 Pizzas & 5 Salads to celebrate their hard work!
