Recap: Access Fund Stewardship Training in Yosemite

The U.S. National Park Service and U.S. Forest Service unveiled a policy that would designate climbing bolts and anchors as “permanent installations,” which are banned under the 1964 Wilderness Act. The new policy proposal requires any route with fixed anchors to undergo a federal approval process that threatens climbing routes across the country with closure.
