A huge THANK YOU to all the amazing volunteers who made it out to the Summit Rock Adopt-A-Crag. It was great working with all of you and the Access Fund Conservation Team today re-building trails and removing a huge amount of glass and garbage.

We received an email from Ranger Violette who we partner with to maintain access to this great crag – congratulations to the volunteers, you earned this:

Cannot ever thank you enough.  You and your group are the best thing to happen to Summit Rock since it became protected within the park boundary.  That is not an overstatement.  It was nice to walk around the bottom this afternoon and know the beginning to the end of the pollution is here.

It was an honor to work with so many amazing and dedicated members of the climbing community to show the Santa Clara County Parks Department that the local climbing community is invested in caring for and keeping our crags open.
